Clear terms for building exceptional digital products together.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern how Craftora Labs LLC (“Craftora”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collaborates with you to design, build, launch, and support mobile apps, websites, APIs, and backend systems.

Working with Craftora

We value transparency, craftsmanship, and reliable delivery. These terms capture what you can expect from us—and what we need from you—to ship great software.

1. Acceptance of terms

By engaging Craftora Labs LLC, signing a proposal, statement of work (“SOW”), or clicking “I agree” on a digital document, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Services we provide

Craftora delivers end-to-end and targeted services including:

  • Product discovery & strategy: Workshops, requirements gathering, user research, roadmaps, and success metrics.
  • UI/UX design: Wireframes, visual design systems, design tokens, prototypes, and accessibility reviews.
  • Mobile development: Native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Android (Kotlin/Compose), cross-platform solutions (Flutter, React Native) tailored to user and business goals.
  • Web & frontend engineering: React, Next.js, performant web apps, responsive experiences, and SEO-ready sites.
  • Backend, APIs & integrations: Node, Laravel, Django, PostgreSQL, MySQL, GraphQL/REST APIs, third-party integrations, and infrastructure setup.
  • DevOps & reliability: CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, analytics instrumentation, security hardening, and cloud deployment.
  • Launch & growth support: Store submissions, ASO, release planning, A/B testing, and post-launch optimization.

3. Engagement structure

  • Scope & deliverables: Defined in the mutually approved proposal/SOW. Any changes are handled via written change request.
  • Timeline: Schedules are estimates. We collaborate closely to deliver efficiently and will communicate impacts when scope or dependencies shift.
  • Team composition: We staff engagements with product strategists, designers, engineers, QA, and DevOps specialists as outlined in the SOW.
  • Collaboration cadence: Expect regular check-ins, sprint reviews, demo sessions, and transparent progress reporting.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide timely access to stakeholders, subject matter experts, existing assets, and decision makers.
  • Review and approve deliverables, user stories, copy, and releases within mutually agreed timelines.
  • Ensure any third-party materials, licenses, or data you supply are used lawfully and that we may use them to perform the services.
  • Maintain necessary development, staging, and production accounts or provide Craftora temporary access where we manage infrastructure.

5. Fees, invoicing, & payment

  • Fees are outlined in the proposal/SOW and may be structured as fixed price, time and materials, or retained capacity.
  • Invoices are payable within 14 days unless the SOW states otherwise. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge (or the maximum allowed by law).
  • Expenses such as travel, third-party services, or software licenses will be billed at cost with prior approval.
  • Work may be paused for non-payment until outstanding amounts are settled.

6. Intellectual property

  • You own the final deliverables you have paid for (design files, source code, documentation) once full payment is received, subject to any third-party license terms.
  • Craftora retains ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, and know-how used to deliver your project. We grant you a perpetual license to use any incorporated Craftora IP solely within the project.
  • Open-source components are provided under their respective licenses.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep non-public information confidential and use it only for the purpose of fulfilling the engagement. This includes designs, code, product strategy, pricing, user data, and business processes. Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the agreement.

8. Data protection & security

We implement security practices aligned with the commitments on our homepage, including access controls, encryption, code reviews, and monitoring. If processing personal data on your behalf, we can execute a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and follow your security requirements where feasible.

9. Warranties

  • Craftora warrants that services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards.
  • We do not warrant that deliverables will be error-free or that they will meet every business requirement unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.
  • Except as stated, services are provided “as is” and all implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Craftora’s total liability arising from the engagement is limited to the fees paid to Craftora for the services giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the engagement for material breach if the breach is not cured within 14 days of written notice.
  • You may terminate for convenience with 14 days’ notice; we will invoice for work performed and non-cancellable commitments.
  • Upon termination, you will pay outstanding invoices and Craftora will deliver work product completed through the termination date.

12. Post-launch support

Unless otherwise detailed in the SOW, ongoing maintenance, feature development, or support after launch is provided through a separate support agreement or new SOW.

13. Publicity

We love showcasing successful products. With your written approval, Craftora may reference your project in portfolios, case studies, or proposals. You can withdraw consent at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be handled in state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, unless both parties agree to alternative dispute resolution.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new services or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date below indicates the latest revision. We will notify active clients of material changes before they take effect.
